65-Year-Old Man Struck And Killed On Dale Mabry Hwy In Tampa Thursday

TAMPA, Fla. - A 65-year-old man was struck and killed on N. Dale Mabry Hwy Thursday morning around 6:33 am.

TAMPA, Fla. – A 65-year-old man was struck and killed on N. Dale Mabry Hwy Thursday morning around 6:33 am.

Police say a 2015 Kia SUV was traveling northbound on N Dale Mabry Hwy and the pedestrian was struck as he attempted to cross the intersection of W Cypress St.

The pedestrian died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Next of kin was notified, police say.

The driver remained at the scene, cooperative with the investigation. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

Northbound lanes on N Dale Mabry Hwy were closed during the investigation but have since reopened.
