HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 76-year-old Hernando woman was killed in a crash that happened around 7:27 am on Friday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the woman, driving a Ford F150 pickup truck, was traveling eastbound on Snow Hill Road while a 26-year-old Dover man was driving a Ford F550 southbound on Snow Memorial Highway.
At the intersection of Snow Hill Road, the Hernando woman failed to stop completely for a posted stop sign and the Dover man collided with the left side of the pickup truck.

Investigators say after the impact, the pickup truck overturned and collided with a tree.
Troopers say the woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
