Fire Truck Red Lights Emergency

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – At approximately 9:30 am St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to the 5200 block of 32nd Ave N for reports of smoke coming from a house.

Crews arrived to a single-story home with smoke coming from the eves. According to officials, initial reports stated that the resident was still inside.

Multiple crews entered the home to search for a victim while also extinguishing the fire.

No victim was found inside.

The resident was found outside and confirmed no other occupants were inside the home. The resident was evaluated by paramedics and is being transported to the hospital for further evaluation of minor injuries. Fire was found in the bedroom and extinguished.

The investigator is on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
