A Florida man has been charged in the carjacking and brutal death of 31-year-old Katherine Guerrero De Aguasvivas.

Jordonish Garcia Torres, 28, Orlando, faces a maximum penalty of death or life imprisonment.

On April 11, a masked man in a hoodie emerged from a vehicle at a traffic light and pointed a semiautomatic rifle at Katherine.

The man, later identified as 28-year-old Jordanish Torres-Garcia, jumped into her vehicle and sped away, leaving a stunned community in his wake.

Little did anyone know that this carjacking would lead to a heinous act of violence.

Tragically, just hours after the carjacking, Guerrero De Aguasvivas’ lifeless body was discovered inside her burned-out vehicle in another county near Orlando.

Kevin Ocasio Justiniano, the driver of the vehicle Torres-Garcia jumped out of, was also taken into custody in Puerto Rico on unrelated drug trafficking and weapons charges.

During the subsequent investigation, Torres-Garcia stunned authorities with a chilling revelation: he claimed to have been paid to kidnap Guerrero De Aguasvivas and deliver her to an unidentified individual.
