Florida Man Claims He Was Paid In Carjacking, Kidnapping, And Murder That Was Caught On Camera

A man who is currently being questioned in the death of a Florida woman who was the victim of an armed carjacking caught on camera claims he was paid to abduct the victim.

On April 11, a Florida woman named Katherine Guerrero De Aguasvivas, 31, fell victim to a carjacking that resulted in her tragic death.

A masked man in a hoodie emerged from a vehicle at a traffic light and pointed a semiautomatic rifle at Katherine. The man, later identified as 28-year-old Jordanish Torres-Garcia, jumped into her vehicle and sped away, leaving a stunned community in his wake.

Little did anyone know that this carjacking would lead to a heinous act of violence.

Tragically, just hours after the carjacking, Guerrero De Aguasvivas’ lifeless body was discovered inside her burned-out vehicle in another county near Orlando.

It was evident that she had been shot multiple times, adding another layer of horror to an already unthinkable crime. The investigation took a new turn as law enforcement officials began to unravel the motive behind this senseless act.

In the pursuit of justice, law enforcement agencies made crucial breakthroughs, leading to the arrests of two individuals connected to the fatal carjacking. Jordanish Torres-Garcia, the man behind the wheel during the carjacking, was apprehended and questioned after being arrested on a federal warrant for violation of probation.

Kevin Ocasio Justiniano, the driver of the vehicle Torres-Garcia jumped out of, was also taken into custody in Puerto Rico on unrelated drug trafficking and weapons charges.

During the subsequent investigation, Torres-Garcia stunned authorities with a chilling revelation: he claimed to have been paid to kidnap Guerrero De Aguasvivas and deliver her to an unidentified individual.

According to court documents, he admitted that he received a sum of $1,500 for his role in this shocking crime. This revelation unveiled a sinister plot that would leave a community in mourning.

Court documents reveal the intricate legal proceedings that followed the arrests. Torres-Garcia’s public defender requested to be removed from the case due to a conflict of interest, leading to his appointment of a new court-appointed attorney.

Meanwhile, Hernandez, the person believed to be involved in the crime, was taken into custody on unrelated drug charges.

The legal battle to hold those responsible for the heinous crime accountable is just beginning.
