All Methed Up: New Port Richey Man Arrested In Dixie County Florida For Drug Trafficking

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A Pasco County man was booked on trafficking meth while parked at a business early Sunday in Dixie County.

Samuel Collins from New Port Richey, Florida, was arrested on June 19, 2022, and charged with (1) Count of Trafficking Methamphetamine and (2) Counts of Possession of Drug Equipment.

This arrest yielded approximately 27.2 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia to include three glass pipes, two scales, and numerous empty baggies.

Dixie County Sheriff’s Office Deputy T. Reed’s encounter with Collins resulted from proactively investigating a suspicious vehicle parked at a closed business late at night.

“Sheriff Butler is proud of his team’s hard work and aggressive stance in combating illegal drug activity in our community,” said DCSO.
