POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Polk County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a home after someone believed they found an alligator in their storage shed.
When the deputy arrived, he found an alligator, but it was that of the inflatble sort. A pool floatie to be exact.
In a tweet, Polk County Sheriff’s Office said, “He came…he saw…he conquered the beast. He even knocked the wind out of it. Literally. The gator turned out to be a pool floatie.”
Deputy Trexler, you are a hero regardless. Pool float or not.
