Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody on Friday called on President Joe Biden to get tough on fentanyl traffickers now taking advantage of his open-border policy.
Moody, according to the Epoch Times, raised the fentanyl crisis in a statement issued as Biden prepared to meet Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador at a summit in Mexico City.
Biden is also reportedly going to make his first trip to the border after nearly two years in office and after nearly 5 million illegal immigrants have crossed into the U.S. on his watch.

Moody maintained that Biden has failed “to demand accountability and cooperation” during his previous meetings with both Obrador and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“Mexico and China both play tremendous roles in the growing fentanyl crisis claiming record numbers of American lives every year,” Moody said in the statement.
Moody also noted that Biden’s agenda for the Mexico City meeting “excluded fentanyl to focus on ‘climate and the environment, migration, diversity, and inclusion and increasing North America’s economic competitiveness.’”
Perhaps that’s because Biden has little idea of what fentanyl is and how dangerous it can be.
This was on display in a speech Biden made on Thursday, with comments that suggest he has no clue of how lethal this drug is.

As CNSNews.com reported, Biden said in his comments that as of August 2022, the “Customs and Border Patrol [actually Customs and Border Protection] have seized more than 20,000 pounds of deadly fentanyl,” Biden said.
“That’s enough to kill — kill as many as 1,000 people in this country. Twenty thousand pounds of fentanyl. It’s a killer. It’s a flat killer,” Biden added.
Yes it is, except for the amount of fentanyl mentioned by Biden is enough to wipe out the entire U.S. population and more than half the world — not just 1,000 people.
CNSNews noted that the DEA reports that just one kilogram, or roughly two pounds, could potentially kill 500,000 people.
So, according to Biden’s theory, that 20,000 pounds could potentially kill 5 billion people — or essentially the entire world’s population except for China and India.
But never fear. Biden has as much of a grasp on this as he does the rest of reality.
