Body Discovered After A Fire Near The Rest Area At The Skyway Bridge

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Police and Fire personnel have discovered a body near the rest area at the Skyway Bridge.

According to police, the Fire Department responded to a grass fire in a wooded area near the Rest Area just before the Skyway Bridge.

Once they put out the fire, they discovered a body and notified police at about 8p.m.

Investigators have now been called in.

Police say that forensic technicians will be carefully collecting the evidence throughout the night
