PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 55-Year-old Brooksville man was killed in a crash that happened on Saturday around 11:21 am, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to troopers, the man was traveling southbound on US-301, north of Mattingly Lane when he steered left to avoid impact with debris in the roadway and entered the grass median.
Troopers say the man lost control of his pickup truck which rotated and traveled back across the southbound lanes, where the vehicle struck the left rear of an SUV.

Troopers say the driver was ejected from the pickup truck as it overturned.
The man was transported to an area hospital but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
