Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has been widely slammed by liberals for his stance on COVID-19 vaccines, especially for not recommending them for children and for young men, who may face an increased risk of the heart disease myocarditis.

Yet when the Biden administration, which has touted ad nauseam the safety and effectiveness of the jabs since President Joe Biden took office, was given the chance to refute Ladapo, it came up empty.

Literally.

Last week, Zachary Stieber, a reporter for The Epoch Times, reported on X that he had finally received long-awaited documents from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that supposedly would show no connection between the COVID-19 vax and myocarditis.

This would effectively debunk the narrative from Ladapo and Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.

His first X post showed a large blank yellow square resembling a file folder.

“Seeing some confusion about this document,” he added in another post. “It’s a CDC document sent to us in response to a Freedom of Information Act request and is fully redacted.”

Yes, all 148 pages of the CDC report were blacked out.

Steiber said a second document was mostly redacted as well.

“The request asked for information about the CDC’s MOVING project. The team has posted several studies,” he added, including a link to one published in the British medical journal The Lancet. “The CDC plans to submit another paper on updated findings from the project for peer review, a spokesperson told us in January.”

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford medical school professor who has advised DeSantis on COVID policy, sarcastically posted in response to Steiber, “I hear b(5) redactions are all the rage these days. Besides, there are just some things the public shouldn’t know.”

As the conservative website Twitchy explained, a Freedom of Information Act b(5) exemption allows the government to redact “privileged” information as it relates to the internal discussion of legal matters. “In other words,” Twitchy posted, “it allows the CDC to redact almost EVERYTHING.”

Bhattacharya predicted the Biden CDC’s secret would not remain secret for long.

“Many good journalists and media organizations are trying to get documents,” he added on X. “This information will eventually come out. It’s not top secret.”
