CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Mayor Brian Aungst Sr. invites the public to attend a community discussion on Tuesday, May 2 about the North Greenwood neighborhood.

The mayor will be joined by Clearwater City Manager Jennifer Poirrier, Assistant City Manager Michael Delk, and Community Redevelopment Director Jaye Matthews to seek input from residents about needs in the community and discuss the new North Greenwood Community Redevelopment Agency.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the North Greenwood Recreation and Aquatic Complex, 900 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

The community chat will take place before the Pinellas County Commission is scheduled in May to vote on approving the new North Greenwood Community Redevelopment Agency, a special taxing district crafted by the city with community input, that would provide funding for redevelopment and improvements in the North Greenwood neighborhood.
