CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Clearwater Police Department, in partnership with Publix, will visit a senior citizen living facility on Friday afternoon to hand out free flowers to women there and bring smiles to their faces.
“Some of them are mothers, some are grandmothers, others are great-grandmothers. It is an event that in the past has put smiles on the faces of some women who say they haven’t gotten flowers in years,” said the Clearwater Police Department.
Police officers and representatives of the Publix at Bayside Bridge Plaza will participate.
