A Florida man has been arrested on stalking charges after leaving panties in front of two women’s homes on multiple occasions, according to deputies.
Wink News reported that deputies arrested 42-year-old Alejandro Hernandez-Perez on Friday after investigating the complaints made by two women of a man dropping panties on their driveways.
According to WINK News, one of the female victims reported to deputies at the beginning of July she believed she was being stalked by the man.
According to investigators, the woman provided deputies surveillance video showing a man, later identified as Hernandez-Perez, 42, dropping panties in her driveway multiple times dating back to the middle of June.
Then on July 20, a man matching the one in the surveillance video, was seen riding a bike past the woman’s house smiling at her.
Deputies spoke Hernandez-Perez, who denied dropping the drawers, but said he purchased the panties for his wife in Mexico.
Hernandez-Perez told deputies he knew the two women they were referring to, but he no longer rode his bike past their homes.
On Friday, deputies caught up with Hernandez-Perez at his home and placed him under arrest with two charges of stalking. He was booked into the Collier County Jail on A $40,000 bond.
