PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 61-year-old Hudson man was killed Monday, at 4:40 p.m., when a tractor-trailer made a U-turn on US-19 in Hudson.
Troopers say the tractor-trailer was driving northbound on US 19 near Tower Drive, when the driver, a 43-year-old Spring Hill man, made a U-turn in the path of the motorcycle that was traveling southbound in the center lane.
Troopers say the motorcycle collided with the trailer. The man was transported to an area hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash.
