Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Pasco County Overnight

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 43-year-old New Port Richey man was killed Tuesday evening around just after 6:20 p.m.

Troopers say a pickup truck was traveling northbound on US-19 at the intersection of Moog Road as the man began walking across the highway
and entered the path of the vehicle. The truck struck the man, who was transported to an area hospital, and later and later died from injuries sustained during the crash.
