Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock has defeated Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler in the first Senate runoff election, according to projections by Associated Press.

The other Senate race between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican David Perdue has not yet been called. The two Senate runoff elections will determine which party gains control of the US Senate.

The race between Republican Sen. David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff hasn’t been called. Democrats need to win both contests to take the Senate.

President Trump took to twitter Wednesday norming saying, “Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd is so happy with the fake voter tabulation process that he can’t even get the words out straight. Sad to watch!”

Loeffler addressed the crowd in Atlanta and promised the crowd she would fight to make sure “every legal vote” is counted. And then told the crowd she was heading to Washington to object to the Electoral College vote.
