Florida Fish and Wildlife, FDACS, DEP, to Host Resource Manager of the Year Virtual Award Ceremony

Today, Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, Florida Forest Service State Forester Erin Albury, Florida Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Noah Valenstein, and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Executive Director Eric Sutton will present the annual Resource Manager of the Year Award Ceremony. 

The “Jim Stevenson Resource Manager of the Year” award recognizes outstanding achievements in the management of natural resources including Florida’s lands, state forests, state parks, preserves and sanctuaries, and other natural treasures.

This year’s recipients are engaged with the Withlacoochee State Forest and Seminole State Forest in central Florida, the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo, and the Apalachee Wildlife Management Area in northwest Florida.
