The Florida Lottery announced six scratch-off winners last week, with a combined winning total of $8,000,000.

On Monday, James Riley, 63, of Ocoee claimed a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He received his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.00.

Riley purchased his winning ticket from Ocoee Food Mart at 700 South Bluford Avenue in Ocoee. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Also on Monday, Elizabeth Williams, 60,of Jacksonville, claimed a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on behalf of the Lucky Lotto Champs Facebook group. The group received the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.

The group, which consists of five Lottery players located across Florida, were on a Facebook Live video watching as Williams scratched the $1 million-winning ticket. “We’re a close-knit group that enjoys putting our money together to play Scratch-Offs,” said Williams. “When I scratched the ticket, I couldn’t believe it. All I could say was ‘O-M-G’ over and over.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 7749 Normandy Boulevard in Jacksonville. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Thursday, Denise Carter, 68, of Ft. Pierce, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office. Carter chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,645,000.00.

Carter purchased her ticket from Carter’s Grocery at 15901 Orange Avenue in Ft. Pierce. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Then on Friday, two winners were announced.

Edward Haggerty, of Leesburg claimed a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.00.

Haggerty purchased his winning ticket from Circle K at 2211 North Citrus Boulevard in Leesburg. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
