A Florida man and woman were arrested after an investigation by a Special Investigations Division found the duo was trafficking methamphetamine.
Both were charged with several felonies and investigators seized a trafficking amount of methamphetamine and multiple firearms.
According to deputies, on November 22, 2022, investigators with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations division concluded a narcotics investigation with the execution of a search warrant at 10800 Illinois Avenue in Youngstown, Florida.
This was the home of 51-year-old Johnny Junior Smith, Jr, and 42-year-old Brandy Sue Skipper.
During this investigation, information was received that the couple was engaged in selling illicit narcotics, specifically methamphetamine. Through investigative techniques, the Special Investigations Division obtained a search warrant for the residence.

As a result of the search warrant, a total of 79.1 grams of methamphetamine was recovered with an estimated street value of $4,000.00, along with $3,644.00 in US currency.
Twenty-nine firearms were also seized, including two stolen firearms and three short-barrel shotguns, violating federal and state law.
Mr. Johnny Junior Smith, Jr is a convicted felon and prohibited from owning firearms.
Johnny Junior Smith Jr., age 51, was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine more than 28g, Possession of New Legend Drug, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Short-Barreled Shot Gun, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.
Brandy Sue Skipper, age 42, was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine more than 28g, Possession of New Legend Drug, Possession of Marijuana less than 20g, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
