A Florida man was arrested Wednesday on charges of Identity theft against a person he worked with.
In June 2022, a victim filed a complaint and reported that his personal information had been used to obtain more than $100,000 in loans.
An investigation was initiated, and the suspect was identified as David Guynn, a business associate of the victim.
On July 13, 2022, Guynn was interviewed at the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and maintained he had authorization, per the business agreement, to utilize the victim’s personal information.
In reviewing the agreement, no such authorization was found. David Guynn, age 52, was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information More Than $50,000.00.
