A 61-year-old Florida man was arrested Sunday after kneeing a deputy in the face and urinating in public.

Deputies say there were no serious injuries reported.

Gregory Mark Oosterbaan, 61, of Jupiter, was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, attempted battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Marathon motel at approximately 3:20 p.m. regarding an indecent exposure incident.

Deputies say Oosterbaan appeared to be intoxicated and was urinating in public. He became belligerent when confronted, investigators say.

Oosterbaan tried to kick deputies while they were placing him in custody and kneed one deputy in the face. He was taken to Monroe County Jail and booked on a $70,000 bond.
