Florida Rep. Greg Steube on Sunday slammed President Joe Biden for halting arms shipments to Israel, as America’s most loyal Middle East ally seeks to finish off the Hamas terrorists responsible for the Oct. 7 massacre.

The Sarasota Republican accused Biden of siding with the Hamas terrorists by “kneecapping” the Israeli Defense Force, even as the U.S. recently pledged to send Israel billions of dollars in weapons.

“Israel should prosecute the war as they see fit,” Steube, a U.S. Army veteran, wrote to constituents in an email Sunday.

“By kneecapping Israel, Joe Biden has decided to side once again with Hamas terrorists over our greatest Middle East ally. All while we still have American hostages being held in Gaza!”

“Congress just voted in an overwhelming bipartisan manner to send $26.3 billion to Israel, which Joe Biden signed,” Steube added. “Biden now turns around and tells the world the U.S. is abandoning Israel in their fight against terror because he doesn’t want to offend the far left Hamas-wing of his party.”

“As unconscionable as this is, it should come as no surprise to anyone who has observed this administration’s foreign policy over the last four years.”

Steube has a point.

This is not the first time Biden has taken action against Israel as it fights back against the terrorist forces that murdered more than 1,200 Jews in the Oct. 7 attack, including at least 31 Americans.

Not only did the Biden administration publicly announce that it would not support Israel’s push into Rafah, which is Hamas’ last stronghold, but it greenlit an attack by Iran last month that involved more than 300 ballistic millies and drones launched at Israel

The Jerusalem Post reported last month that Iran informed Turkish officials about the strike against Israel before it happened and Turkey shared that with the White House. According to the source, the Biden administration replied that the attack on Israel had to be “within certain limits.”
