HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Roy Dampier has been located and is back safe with his family, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff.
“We would like to thank the public for their efforts in keeping a lookout for him,” said HCSO.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputies were asking for the public’s help locating a missing endangered man.
Roy Dampier was last seen leaving his home on the 11000 block of Cypress Park Street in Tampa on Friday, December 8, 2023, just after 1 p.m. in his white 2005 Ford F150 (FL Tag IR2 8QV).
Mr. Dampier was diagnosed with dementia and has not been heard from or seen since Friday afternoon.
He is 5’8”, 200 lbs, bald with a partial gray beard. He was last seen wearing a blue and white stripe collared shirt, blue jeans, black hat, and black sneakers.

His white truck has some front-end driver-side damage. The front passenger side mirror is missing, has tinted windows, and carries a silver toolbox.
