SARASOTA, Fla - The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person suffering from memory loss who went missing from our jurisdiction.

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Florida Silver Alert and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person suffering from memory loss who went missing in Sarasota County.

Louisa Mae Heil is described as a white female, 5’7” tall with an average build. She has brown/grey hair with brown eyes and wears glasses.  

She was last seen in the Woodmere Park area in Venice, Florida at 10:00 a.m. on 9/23/2023. She was last seen driving a 2013 white Honda Fit with Florida license plate number KHFX65.

Her vehicle was last observed in the area of Lake City, Florida at 6:16 p.m. traveling northbound on US41. It is believed she was attempting to get to the Orlando area earlier today.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mrs. Heil is asked to contact our agency. If she or her vehicle are observed, please contact local law enforcement to assist in locating her.
