A Florida teenager has been arrested in a drive-by shooting of three people, killing a 6-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man.

According to police, at approximately 8:20 p.m., on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, Orlando Police officers responded to 1141 Poppy Ave. in reference to multiple shots fired from a passing vehicle, with two people shot.

One of the individuals, a 6-year-old child, was shot while inside her living room and later declared deceased by medical staff.

Police say the mother of the 6-year-old was also shot and sustained non life-threatening injuries.

A third gunshot victim arrived at Health Central in Ocoee and was declared deceased by medical staff there.

The homicide victims have been identified as 6-year-old Ajahliyah Hashim, 6, and 19-year-old Isaiyah Wright.

On September 2nd, 2023, 15-year-old Nico Brown was arrested for First Degree Homicide in connection to the shooting deaths of both victims.
