A Florida woman has been charged after punching a jail deputy in the face while being escorted to a pod and saying she had "nothing better to do."

A Florida woman has been charged after punching a jail deputy in the face while being escorted to a pod and saying she had “nothing better to do.”

Deputies said Jazmyne Cecilia Levesque, 23, was being moved to a pod in Pinellas County Jail Thursday when she punched a female deputy in the face with a closed fist.

The deputy was taken to a walk-in clinic for treatment, according to the arrest report.

After being arrested, Levesque admitted to the sucker punch and said she did it “because she was bored, had nothing else to do, and was already in a couple of fights earlier that day.”

Levesque was jailed for Grand Theft after stealing 87 products from Ulta Beauty in Tarpon Springs, totaling $2,369.38 of goods. A the time, she admitted to the theft and said she needed to “beautify” herself.
