One of former President Donald Trump’s advisers had some sobering words for former President Barack Obama last week after he decided to weigh in on Tennessee Republicans punishing Democrats who helped incite a raucous protest at the state capitol.
Last week GOP lawmakers voted to expel Democratic state Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson for violating the House’s “decorum rules” during an anti-gin protest following a transgender man’s massacre of six people, including three children, at a Christian school in Nashville.
Democratic Rep. Gloria Johnson narrowly avoided getting the boot.

Republican House Speaker Cameron Sexton characterized the protest as an “insurrection,” after the lawmakers stormed the House chamber lectern without being recognized to speak, whipped out a bullhorn, and joined protesters in shouting from the chamber galleries and disrupting the session.
The legislature shut down for almost an hour because of the protest.
Obama waded into the political fray and in his inimitable style proceeded to lecture the rest of America about how wrong it is.
“This nation was built on peaceful protest. No elected official should lose their job simply for raising their voice – especially when they’re doing it on behalf of our children,” Obama said.

“What happened in Tennessee is the latest example of a broader erosion of civility and democratic norms. Silencing those who disagree with us is a sign of weakness, not strength, and it won’t lead to progress.”
Strange that Obama was nowhere to be found when people lost their jobs for disagreeing with COVID rules or the LGBTQ agenda, or when his former vice president, Joe Biden, sent the FBI to hunt down parents protesting left-wing school board policies, on behalf of children.
As the website Gateway Pundit noted on Saturday, one of those who took exception to Obama’s condescending comments was former Trump national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
Flynn was among those targeted by the FBI as it carried out the Russia collusion hoax, which started under Obama, against Trump and his campaign and his administration.

“How about telling this to the parents of a 9-year-old child who’s nearly unrecognizable body was completely riddled with bullets by a transgender psycho likely pumped up on hormone blockers and steroids,” Flynn replied to Obama on Twitter.
“You should mind your manners Mr. President. We are sick and tired of your bull$h!t. How about offering condolences to the families who tragically lost loved ones. Have a nice day.”
