Shot People Because They Are White

‘Gaslights Are Lit’ Media Ignore Interracial Crime Story That Doesn’t Fit The Narrative

A shooting spree in Georgia shows the mainstream media’s gaslights are all lit.

Over the weekend a Georgia man shot five men in a matter of hours in incidents that crossed between Georgia and Alabama. No one was killed. The wounded were expected to recover.

At a preliminary hearing on Monday, a detective testified that the shooter revealed that he hunted his victims because of their race.

If you have not heard of this case, the reason is simple.

The accused gunman, Justin Tyran Roberts, is black and his victims are all white.

The shootings occurred just outside Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia, which sits across the Chattahoochee River from Phenix City, Alabama. The detective said that Roberts went gunning for “military-looking white men.” He claimed that such men had “taken from him,” although it was unclear what that meant.

Roberts’ lawyer claims he’s delusional.

While the story is getting picked up in conservative media, such as Fox News and the New York Post, and now The Free Press, the broader public will remain in the dark because the major national media have imposed a literal blackout.

Searching for Roberts’ name on the websites of The New York Times, Washington Post, NBC News, ABC News, and CBS News produced zilch.

CNN reported the story on its website, but the article does not disclose the races of those involved – although Roberts’ mugshot appears with it. The race of the victims is excluded, as is the detective’s reference to the motive.

To its credit, the Associated Press reported and liberal outlets like U.S. Nes & World Report picked that up. But Roberts’ name is conspicuously absent from the rest of the mainstream media.

As Fox News’ Tucker Carlson explained on his broadcast Tuesday, “What’s striking is how little attention Justin Tyran Roberts’ shooting spree has received.”

“Imagine if the colors were reversed here. Roberts would be leading every newscast tonight. Needless to say, he’s not. In fact, this may be the last time you hear his name on television.”
