Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed her GOP colleagues on Friday after they voted to expel Republican Rep. George Santos.
Lawmakers voted 311-114 to oust the New York lawmaker, as 105 Republicans joined Democrats in making Santos the first House member since the Civil War to get booted without being convicted of a crime. Two Democrats voted with GOP lawmakers to allow Santos to remain in his job.
Greene, a Georgia Republican, lit into her fellow Republicans on X (formerly Twitter), shaming them for failing to pursue the Biden administration for impeachable offenses and cutting into the GOP’s already slim majority.

“Republicans refuse to impeach any of the Democrats who are responsible for destroying our country and have so far thrown out a Republican Speaker and now expelled a Republican member,” Greene said on X. “We now have a 3 seat majority and have another Republican resigning soon, and will have a 2 seat majority, as long as every Republican shows up when we are in session.”
“Republican voters want us to stop the communist Democrat’s (sic) agenda and hold Democrats accountable, NOT destroy our majority and do nothing to hold Democrats accountable. Shameful!!”
On X, Greene shared or commented on other posts who were also critical of the anti-Santos Republicans.
For example, conservative journalist Benny Johnson said on X: “Republicans won’t impeach Mayorkas. Won’t defund any part of the Biden regime. Won’t fund Trump’s wall. Won’t investigate voter fraud. Won’t investigate FBI. Won’t defend J6 political prisoners. WILL vote to expel a Republican fabulist because media tells them to. Cowards.”
Greene replied, “Yep.”
She also quoted the last line of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s post about Santos: “All voters want is a GOP that fights as hard as everyday citizens do.”

Kirk’s original post stated, “Congress can’t impeach Mayorkas who is single-handedly destroying America by allowing 10 million illegals and countless terrorists to break into America flooding our schools, our cities, and our hospitals with the 3rd world… But never fear! Republicans expelled George Santos because of OnlyFans and botox.”
“How about brother lover Ilhan Omar? How about magic stock picker Nancy Pelosi? How about Maxine “I have my whole family on payroll” Waters? How about genocide advocate Rashida Tlaib? How about fire alarm freak Jamaal Bowman? How about gold bar traitor Bob Menedez? How about the serial liar Adam Schiff? Everyone of these cowards who voted to expel Santos should get an immediate audit from the Ethics Committee into their personal lives.”

As the Tampa Free Press has reported, Santos was indicted in May on allegations of wire fraud, money laundering, lying to Congress and theft of public funds.
The former freshman lawmaker has also been accused of defrauding campaign donors by using contributions to pay for personal expenses, making false statements to the Federal Election Commission, falsifying records, aggravated identity theft, and other charges.
