WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking tips in an armed robbery that happened in Winter Haven on Friday.
According to PCSO, On July 1st, at approximately 1:07 a.m., a black male wearing a black hoody, black pants, and a black ski mask entered the Circle K store at 1108 Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven and placed a black toiletry bag on the counter.
Deputies say the man then pointed a handgun at the clerk, and told her that she had 10 seconds to give him the money.
Investigators say that a second clerk approached the counter and the suspect pointed the firearm at her and told her, “you got 10 seconds, give me the money”.
The suspect fled the store on foot.
