WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Winter Haven Fire and Police on the scene of a glider crash that happened Saturday afternoon on Ave K SE.
At approximately 1:50 p.m. today, an airplane glider crashed into a neighborhood along Ave K SE just adjacent to Winter Haven High School.

There are no injuries on the ground. The pilot was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
