Graveyard Ghosts: Hidden Cemetery Haunts The #1 Tourist Destination

The Great Smoky Mountains attracted 1.4 million more visitors last year than its all-time high of 14 million the year prior. Making Gatlinburg, Tennessee the current #1 tourist destination in the country beating out Las Vegas.

This popular quaint mountain town located at the entrance the National Park, is sold out virtually every weekend with visitors walking the parkway filled with shops, restaurants, attractions, homemade candy, arts & crafts, etc.

Little be it known to most tourists and locals, is the fact that directly up the alley on the steep hill behind Fannie Farkle’s Amusements is a hidden, highly haunted 200-year-old cemetery “White Oak Flats”, which also was the name of the town before being renamed “Gatlinburg”. The cemetery also holds history of the Reagans and Ogles, both of whom were founding families of the area.

Join me as I venture on a Ghost Hunt inside the darkness of this unique graveyard watched over by a Guardian and filled with Poltergeist, Spirits, Shadow People, the man with one leg and the infamous Gatlinburg Witch. Hear the stories of each and learn the history of how Gatlinburg got its name. Orbs appear and listen closely as the shadow people walk.
