TAMPA, Fla. – Gulf Marine Repair, a full-service shipyard located in Tampa, will host an awards ceremony and luncheon to honor and recognize nine employees who have been with the company for 30 or more years.
The event will take place on March 10, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1800 Grant St, Tampa, FL 33605.
“We are extremely pleased and proud to recognize these nine employees with 31 to 35 years of uninterrupted service,” says Richard McCreary, president of Gulf Marine. “This is a milestone in
any year for most firms and a tribute to the continuous family ownership which has shaped our
values over these last three decades. Gulf Marine Repair is committed to build on this history and
continue our reputation as a great place to work for our employees and a solid, ethical place to do
business with for our customers.”
One of the reasons employees are able to construct such a long and rewarding career with Gulf Marine Repair is thanks to the A.W. Hendry Training Center, an on-site training facility where employees have an opportunity to learn new skills that allow them to advance within the company.
