According to reports, the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department responded to a fire at the former West Jacksonville Elementary School Sunday Afternoon.

Multiple fire trucks responded to the scene, according to ActionNewsJax.

JFRD says that the fire was caused by hand sanitizer palettes spilling. Firefighters used foam to extinguish the blaze.

People were reportedly inside the building at the time of the fire, luckily no injuries were reported.
