Court Law Lawsuit

“Hatred, Distrust, Ridicule” Lutz Attorney Files Libel Suit Against Client

From a twisted family-owned-business dispute previously taken to the courts, the family’s corporate attorney has filed a libel lawsuit against the family’s son, a partner in business with his father.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – From a twisted family-owned-business dispute previously taken to the courts, the family’s corporate attorney has filed a libel lawsuit against the family’s son, a partner in business with his father.

In a Pinellas County court case filed on September 3, James C. Patterson, a 46-year attorney from the Harder Law Group in Lutz, claims Defendant Christopher Baker has committed “Libel Per Se” against him.

Christopher Baker is a partner in his father Scott Baker’s business called Mark My Words Media LLC.

According to the lawsuit, although Christopher Baker filed a complaint with the Florida Bar Association about Patterson, it was determined his complaints were without merit.

The lawsuit states Defendant Christopher Baker’s libelous claims were texted on social media and filed with the Tarpon Springs Police Department and FBI.

Christopher Baker accuses attorney Patterson of attempting to bilk him alongside his father, Scott Baker.

He wails that both his father and Patterson are out to kill him and his wife and some of his children through a murder-for hire-plot.

In his report to the Tarpon Springs Police Department, he claims another of his children placed espionage surveillance equipment in his house. He also accuses Patterson of being actively involved in Pizzagate, an infamous pedophile ring.

The lawsuit describes and shows Christopher Baker’s social media posting from August 31, which states, “Plaintiff’s (attorney Patterson’s) work with the U.S. Air Force on infrasound weapons and Plaintiffs (attorney Patterson and father, Scott Baker) having the local police kidnap and threaten Plaintiff (Christopher Baker) are also patently false and Defendant (Christopher Baker) either knew or should have known that said statements were false when made.”

Attorney Patterson’s lawsuit states he has never served in the U.S. Air Force.

Christopher Baker also allegedly sent a libelous letter to George Harder and his law firm in Lutz where attorney Patterson practices his law career.

On an undated social text image, but on or around February 28 according to the lawsuit, Christopher Baker said, “Scott Baker was a no-show at mediation today but his attorney James Patterson was there to accuse me of stealing company documents and deny my ownership stake in Mark My Words Media. Now not only is James Patterson, our corporate attorney, and Kathy Cregan, our corporate accountant, involved in the scheme to defraud me (and my family), but the mediator they brought in whose name is Robert Bonanno also as he has a relationship with one of our oldest clients and obviously has a conflict of interest…On top of that my attorney, Howard Ross, also quit on me recently and is also involved in the scheme.”

George S. Harder is James C. Patterson’s attorney.

Patterson withheld establishing damage amounts for the libel case but stated in his lawsuit that he is subject to “hatred, distrust, ridicule, contempt, and disgrace” as a licensed attorney in good standing with The Florida Bar.
