Florida Snow Tubing

‘Hell Yes’ Florida Snow Tubing Opened Today, What a Blast

Yes, Florida now has snow tubing and Snowcat Ridge delivered. As promised. When we arrived today, just before the 3 PM opening, the line was long, and the slopes were cold. A great turnout for an opening day, and people from all over were there.

We spoke with Ty Peters, who traveled down from Georgia for opening day, “We had to see this and be part of snow in Florida. Today we snow tube tomorrow we hit Clearwater Beach.”

Equipped with a ‘magic carpet’ (or at least that’s what we called in at the ski resorts up north), tubers hop on for the trek to the top of the slopes. Once there, staff gets you settled into your tube and down you go.
