HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Hernando County Government has selected Toni Brady as its Office of Management and Budget (OMB) director. Brady has a bachelor’s in accounting and a Master of Business Administration, both from St. Leo University.
She has spent the past four and a half years working for the Hernando County Clerk and Comptroller as its financial operations supervisor. She has previously worked closely with Hernando County Government staff during her time with the Clerk’s Office and is knowledgeable on its financial background.
“I am excited to begin working more closely with the Hernando County Government staff in the Office of Management and Budget” says Brady. “I truly enjoyed my time with the Clerk’s Office and am eager for this new opportunity to serve the citizens of Hernando County.”
Brady’s primary areas of responsibility will be:
- Direct the development, implementation, management and reporting of the County’s annual budget
- Provide management, oversight and evaluation of financial projects and their financial implications to the County
- Direct the development, monitoring and reporting of the County’s five-year capital improvement
“I look forward to continuing to work with Toni in this new role” Hernando County Administrator Jeff Rogers said. “Her institutional knowledge will help bring a new perspective to the Office of Management and Budget and I am confident in her ability to carry out the functions of this position.”
Three applications were received for the position. After careful and deliberate review of the applications, administration determined that two individuals met the criteria to proceed to the interview process. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with both applicants. This process led to the selection of Brady as the most qualified candidate.
Brady’s first day was December 15, 2020. Her salary is set at $105,019.20.
