SEFFNER, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) fought a residential structure fire in Seffner on Friday morning at 7:05 A.M.

Battalion Chief 1 discovered the blaze on the first floor as he did a 360-degree evaluation of the house. Firefighters advanced hose lines into the residence to suppress the flames.

Additional crews conducted searches of the house, which confirmed no occupants inside. Crews had the blaze controlled within 10 minutes. There were no injuries to civilians or first responders.

“Our fire investigator determined the cause to be accidental, coming from an electrical source,” said HCFR.
