HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Prepping your costume and collecting a bag full of the best Halloween candy is the highlight of fall if you’re a kid.
So of course you are anticipating it for days and weeks ahead of October 31, and you probably want to start the fun as soon as your parents will let you!
Did you know?! The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office puts on two kid-friendly events for all the ghouls and goblins to celebrate Halloween safely!
“We invite you to come to both our Drive-Thru Pumpkin Patch on October 22 and Halloween Trick-Or-Treat with Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office on October 31,” said HCSO.
“With the help of our community partners, we are continuing one of our favorite holiday traditions, the drive-thru pumpkin patch. Our goal is to provide a safe place for children and their families to celebrate the season,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This event is also a chance for deputies to connect with parents ahead of Halloween night and remind them of the rules, like checking their children’s candy and making sure their costumes are safe for trick-or-treating. And the best part, you don’t even have to leave your car to take part in this family-friendly event.”
