Holiday Woman Killed When Vehicle Pulls Into Path Of Her Motorcycle On US-19 In Citrus County

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A Holiday woman was killed in a crash that happened on Sunday around 12:37 pm, troopers say.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Kia Sorento, exiting onto US-19 from a private driveway north of Cardinal Street, turned into the path of a Suzuki motorcycle, which was traveling north on US-19. 

As a result, the motorcyclist collided with the left side of the Kia.

The driver of a motorcycle, a 30-year-old Holiday woman, later died from injuries suffered during the crash. 

The driver of the Kia, a 70-year-old Lecanto man, was uninjured during the incident.
