WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation on railroad tracks at Neptune Road just south of Hillcrest Road, near Recker Hwy. in Winter Haven.
Deputies have been on the scene since around 6:00 p.m. Friday.
Deputies say a homeless man was killed by a CSX train.
Traffic is backed up on Recker Hwy, deputies say.
