TAMPA, Fla. – Kennedy Blvd. has re-opened to vehicle traffic following a residential fire early Friday that Tampa Fire Rescue crews battled.

Tampa Fire Rescue responded around 6:00 am Friday to an active structure fire in the area of Kennedy Blvd and N. Lincoln Av.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Kennedy Blvd. were closed from Henderson Blvd. to N. Himes Av.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and no injuries were reported.
