Kentucky Man Sentenced To 30 Years For Production Of Child Porn

A Kentucky man was sentenced on Tuesday to 30 years in prison for the production of child pornography.

According to his plea agreement, on February 14, 2023, a witness contacted law enforcement after discovering videos of Cisneros-Gomez sexually abusing a minor victim.

Jair Cisneros-Gomez, 25, admitted to law enforcement that he sexually abused the minor, and he produced videos of the sexual abuse on his cellphone.

Under federal law, Cisneros-Gomez must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence. Upon his release, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for life.

Carlton S. Shier, IV, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky; Rana Saoud, Special Agent in Charge, Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI); and Chief Lawrence Weathers, Lexington Police Department, jointly announced the sentence.

HSI and the Lexington Police Department conducted the investigation.  Assistant U.S. Attorney Erin Roth is prosecuting the case on behalf of the United States.
