LAKELAND, Fla. – Lakeland Police Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying persons who are believed to have information related to the deceased newborn infant found in a dumpster yesterday.

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, at approximately 6:03 a.m., officers responded to a reported deceased newborn found inside a bag in a dumpster behind the businesses at 3625 South Florida Avenue.
