CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A 41-year-old Lecanto man was killed in a crash that happened Saturday around 7:01 pm, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound on CR-490 (W. Yulee Drive). Troopers say the rider failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway just east of South Palo Verde Point.
The motorcycle entered the grass shoulder and collided with a tree.

The rider, a 41-year-old Lecanto man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
