SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with a vehicle-vs.-motorcycle crash investigation at Clark Rd and Jason Lee Place.
Deputies say the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
The occupant of the other vehicle did not suffer any injuries, deputies say.

Eastbound Clark Rd. at Sawyer Loop has been shut down for investigation purposes.
“We are asking motorists to avoid the area at this time,” said SCSO.
