MTG Says No One Objects To Drag Shows Grooming Kids Because They “Don’t Want To Offend”

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration confirmed Tuesday that the state would investigate an “all ages” drag-queen show in Fort Lauderdale last weekend.

But Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to know how it is possible that venues tolerate the “grooming” of children when routine political events are trashed and canceled because they feature conservatives.

Greene on Tuesday responded to a video posted on Twitter by independent journalist Chris Nelson who attended the Fort Lauderdale show and asked performers why children were allowed in.

Nelson, in his comments, noted that the star, Nina West, “did her regular raunchy routine filled w sexual innuendo last night which is fine for adults but CHILDREN were in the crowd!”

According to Post Millennial, another commenter, Tayler Hansen, pointed out that the Fort Lauderdale festival of pseudo-femininity was part of a national tour with 36 shows across 18 eighteen states. During these shows, the website reported, “the explicit moves put on by the queens, including the exposing of fake breasts in a box, and repeated grinding and humping.”

In her reply, Greene argued, “All sexually explicit shows, whether they are heterosexual, LGBTQ, or drag queen shows, are inappropriate for children, and children should not be allowed. But drag shows are often advertised ‘all ages.’”

“This is intentional grooming of children by both the parents and the performers,” she continued.

She further noted that in 2021 she and GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida “went to multiple states doing America First rallies. Multiple venues canceled on us bc of funded & organized harassment from the left, but no venues have canceled these sexually explicit shows w/ children in attendance. No one is complaining?”

“Somehow we are in a place in America where venues will cancel members of congress (sic) paying to use venues to give free rallies promoting freedom, but venues don’t cancel performers profiting off sexual shows grooming children in the audience,” Greene concluded. “Don’t want to offend.”
