NBC News just proved that liberals can get their way if only they whine loud enough and long enough.
On Tuesday, the network fired former Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel as a contributor, just days after the company announced that she would contribute to its election coverage “across all NBC News platforms.”
NBCUniversal News Group Chairman Cesar Conde told employees, “After listening to the legitimate concerns of many of you, I have decided that Ronna McDaniel will not be an NBC News contributor.”

Fox News, which also reported on the issue, noted that Conde further told his staff, “I want to personally apologize to our team members who felt we let them down. While this was a collective recommendation by some members of our leadership team, I approved it and take full responsibility for it.”
He added, “Our initial decision was made because of our deep commitment to presenting our audiences with a wide diverse set of viewpoints and experiences, particularly during these consequential times. We continue to be committed to the principle that we must have diverse viewpoints on our programs, and to that end, we will redouble our efforts to seek voices that represent different parts of the political spectrum.”
Fox noted that he also told staffers that bringing on McDaniel had undermined his goal of a “cohesive and aligned” newsroom.
The news came just two days after Chuck Todd, NBC News’s chief political analyst, openly ripped his employer, as the Tampe Free Press reported on Monday.

Todd claimed on the air that many NBC staffers were “uncomfortable” with hiring McDaniel because of her “gaslighting” while running the Republican Party.
This would be the same NBC that, like so many other liberal outlets, willfully participated in the Russian-collusion hoax, the “very fine people” hoax, the Hunter Biden’s laptop is “Russian disinformation” hoax, and the more recent “bloodbath” hoax, among numerous other anti-Trump screeds.
