Yosif Clark of North Cape May, New Jersey, recently received the opportunity to fulfill a dream from the Sunshine Foundation: taking his family to visit theme parks in Central Florida.

Yosif lives with the challenges of having severe level 3 autism and intermittent explosive disorder, a behavioral disorder characterized by explosive outbursts of anger and violence in which one reacts out of proportion to the situation.

Children with lifelong chronic illnesses and ailments like spina bifida, cerebral palsy, severe level 3 autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Sickle Cell Disease, blindness, deafness, trauma from abuse, and others have their wishes fulfilled by the Sunshine Foundation.

Sunshine Foundation depends on the kindness of people, groups, and businesses to fulfill these wishes for kids who could be denied access to other wish-granting organizations because they don’t have a life-threatening or serious illness.

A kind donation from the Sunshine Foundation All-Volunteer Ocean City Cape Atlantic New Jersey Chapter allowed Yosif’s “Dream Come True” to happen. Additionally, you can fulfill a dream by making a donation at www.sunshinefoundation.org.

The most common request is a Magical Dream to visit Disney World, Legoland, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios while choosing to stay at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village near Disney.

Sunshine Foundation also answers Special Dreams: shopping sprees, computers and iPads, outdoor playsets, above-ground swimming pools, family trips, cruises, adaptive tricycles, and other special needs equipment, plus many more.

Over 41,900 children nationwide have experienced Sunshine since 1976 because of the efforts of the Sunshine Foundation.

Please visit www.sunshinefoundation.org for additional details, to make a donation, or to recommend a child.
